Frequently asked questions
Our studio is situated on picturesque Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. All items purchased from our online shop are shipped from our studio via Canada Post or UPS (select at checkout), unless otherwise requested or unavailable. Additionally, you have the option to order online and pick up your items directly from our studio on Gabriola Island.
Currently, our studio does not have fixed hours of operation as we frequently travel to share our music and products. While we are often open on weekends (and some week days) during the summer months, we cannot guarantee specific days. If our posted hours on the GABRIOLA ISLAND STUDIO page do not fit your schedule, please contact us to arrange a convenient time, we handle much of our business during requested times.
We are confident you will be delighted with your purchase! Each order is meticulously packed by Sah'Rah, the owner of Blue Apples. If any items arrive damaged from shipping, please contact us immediately. We will report to Canada Post any damage and handle the situation accordingly.
All sales are final (it makes zero sense to ship things back and forth with today's astronomical shipping rates - we are not Amazon), however if you purchase jewelry that doesn't meet your expectations or requires adjustments, please let us know right away, and we will work out a solution based on your needs and location.
Gabriola Island is located on the west coast of Canada off the east side of Vancouver Island. You can reach it by taking a ferry from Nanaimo, which accommodates both vehicles and walk-on passengers. Alternatively, you can take a float plane from Vancouver, but you will need to arrange transportation across the island, such as a taxi or the infrequent bus service. Our studio is a 6-minute drive or a 45-minute walk from the Descanso Bay ferry terminal.
Many of our products are handcrafted in-house by Sah'Rah, the owner of Blue Apples. She designs and creates nearly all the jewelry and blends the essential oils. Additionally, Sah'Rah carefully curates a selection of works from other artists, including art prints, leatherwork, and orgonite.
