Blue Apples DIOPSIDE

Diopside is a monoclinic pyroxene mineral. Interestingly, Diopside is much more abundant in Earth's mantle than at the surface. Chromium gives it the most attractive green colour. It has a hardness of 5.5-6 on the Mohs scale and is classed monoclinic.
