The material known as "Jade" could be divided into two different minerals: Jadeite and Nephrite. Although sometimes assumed to be only green, other colours are found. Chinese craftspeople have been producing Jade objects for over 5,000 years!
They are both classed monoclinic, with Jadeite having a hardness of 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, and Nephrite is 6-6.5.
JADE is utilized to harmonize & nourish, strengthen the heart, and open to joy & abundance.
