Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide mineral. It has been used for thousands of years for copper production, in carvings and ground up as pigment. It is classed monoclinic and has a hardness of 3.5-4 on the Mohs scale.
Malachite is a stone of enlightened leadership and responsibility. It draws emotions to the surface. It is said to absorb dense energies so regular cleansing is suggested.
