Citrine is a transparent yellow/golden variety of Quartz. Much of the Citrine on the market is heat treated Amethyst (mimicking how the Earth's temperature determines the colour of the Quartz). Natural Citrine is typically a paler colour. Citrine is classed trigonal and has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale.
Healing properties of CITRINE: Citrine is a stone of manifestation and will, prosperity and abundance. It is often associated with the Solar Plexus and solar energy, activating clear creative impulses and decisiveness.
