Blue Apples LABRADORITE

Labradorite is plagioclase feldspar. Some exhibit the schiller effect iridescence which has become so well known with Labradorite that the term "labradorescence" is used. Translucent stones with the best show of spectral color are sometimes called "Spectrolite." It is classed triclinic and has a hardness of 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale.
